Crestview Wins NWC Scholastic Bowl; Ada in 5 Way Tie for Second

Crestview won the Northwest Conference Scholastic Bowl competition with an 8-0 record in matches held at Crestview High School on March 27th. Ada, Bluffton, Delphos Jefferson, Lincolnview, and Paulding all finished in a 5 way tie for 2nd place with records of 5-3 in the competition. Penczarski Now a Finalist for Superintendent’s Position at Chagrin Falls

Kenton City Schools Superintendent Jennifer Penczarski is now a finalist for that position at the Chagrin Falls School District. Cleveland.com reported that Penczarski and two other candidates were interviewed this past Monday April 5. She had been a finalist for the Lebanon School District. Troopers Seize $90,000 Worth of Cocaine in Sandusky County; Fremont Man Arrested

COLUMBUS – Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers filed felony drug charges against an Ohio man after a stop in Sandusky County. During the traffic stop, troopers seized more than 6 pounds of cocaine worth approximately $90,000. University of Findlay has received 1,200 doses of the Johnson and Johnson COVID-19 vaccine for University students in the Koehler Fitness and Recreation Complex. Kenton City Council Cancels Finance Committee Meeting Monday

The Finance Committee of Kenton City Council will not be meeting on Monday. The committee was scheduled to meet at 5:30 Monday evening prior to the regular meeting, but it has been cancelled. It will be rescheduled at a later date. The regular meeting of Kenton City Council on April 12 is still scheduled to start at seven that evening.
