Driver Escapes Serious Injuries in Crash Monday Afternoon

Man Arrested Following Drug Operation in Findlay

A Findlay man was arrested following an operation conducted by the Hancock County METRICH Drug Task Force on Monday.   According to a release, a search warrant was executed at 1425 Bernard Avenue in Findlay.   As a result, 52 year old David K. Claypool was arrested on a charge of trafficking in cocaine. Aug. 6, 2019 – Today the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children is launching, “Into the Cloud,” a brand new online safety product for children in grades K-5. This includes an animated web series and video game. Possible Sexual Abuse Reported to Kenton Police

A sexual abuse incident is under investigation by the Kenton Police Department.   According to the report, officers received an email from the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services concerning the possible offense.   Two juvenile females, ages 13 and 11, were listed as victims.   A 54 year old Kenton man was listed as a suspect, but he has not yet been charged.   The incident remains under investigation.

Traffic Stop Leads to Arrest of Dunkirk Man

A Dunkirk man was arrested Monday afternoon following a traffic stop in Kenton.   According to the report from the Kenton Police Department, officers stopped a car in the 400 block of West Espy Street for a traffic violation.   The driver, identified as 30 year old Joshua Biederman, was arrested on a warrant out of Shelby County, Indiana.   He was also cited for several traffic violations.

Numerous Items Stolen From Kenton Residence

A resident in Kenton reported the theft of numerous items to Kenton police on Monday.   According to the report, the victim said multiple tools and various other items were stolen sometime since mid to late July.   The value of the missing items was listed at just over $3700.   A 44 year old Kenton man was listed as a suspect, but he has not yet been charged.   The theft remains under investigation.
