Street Closures Announced for Weekend Kenton Events

Part of Main Street in Ada Closed Saturday for Car Show

COLUMBUS – The Ohio State Highway Patrol and other members of the 6-State Trooper Project are collaborating to focus on education and enforcement of the Move Over law. Kenton Church Open as Cooling Station

A church in Kenton is opening its doors as a cooling station during the heatwave.   The Church of the Nazarene located at 113 Jacob Parrott Boulevard is open from 9:00am until around 8:30 now through this Saturday as the Excessive Heat Warning is in effect.   The church plan to have water available for those utilizing the building.   Anyone needing assistance getting into the church should call 419-673-5265.

Kenton Top 20 Show Choir Camp.

Today, WKTN got the chance to sit in on the Kenton Top 20's show choir camp. This camp has been going on all this week from 9-5, and they've been working on the choreography and performance for this seasons competitive show choir show.
