Kenton Man Charged with Public Indecency

A Kenton man was charged following an incident reported to Kenton police on Tuesday. According to the report, a man went to the police department to report an unspecified incident that happened to his juvenile niece. As a result, 46 year old Carlos D. Kenner was cited for public indecency.

OSP Plans Zero Tolerance for Impaired Driving

COLUMBUS - The Ohio State Highway Patrol will be highly visible and cracking down on impaired drivers during the Fourth of July holiday reporting period, which begins at midnight Wednesday, July 3 and ends at 11:59 p.m. Sunday, July 7. Driver Injured in Semi Rollover Crash in Wyandot County

One person was injured in a crash that occurred Tuesday afternoon in Wyandot County. According to the report from the Wyandot County Sheriff's Office, 42 year old Robert Kaiser, of Attica, Ohio, was driving the truck southbound on the entrance ramp from County Highway 330 onto U.S. 23. Kenton Elks #157 Ritualistic Team Wins National Championship

The 2019 Elks Ritualistic National Champion team was announced today.   The Kenton Elks Lodge #157 won the competition at the National Conference held in St. Louis, Missouri.   In addition, the King Award goes to Kenton #157 as well as Nathan Davis had the highest score of the competition. Kenton Elks 157 last won the National Championship Trophy in 2006 and has placed in the top 5 multiple times throughout the years.

Mid-Ohio Awards Grant to Aid in Efforts to Mitigate Flooding in LaRue

LaRue, OH - A grant from Mid-Ohio Energy Cooperative will help the LaRue Community Alliance in their efforts to mitigate flooding in the village of LaRue. Commissioners Get Update from County Dog Warden

The Hardin County Commissioners got an update from the Hardin County Dog Warden at a recent meeting.   Kyle Camper reported that two dogs are currently in the kennel.   Camper noted that he is seeing an increase in more aggressive dogs and requested a taser of spray as sheriff's deputies are not always available.   He noted that mace makes some dogs more aggressive.   Camper stated that he will check into the required proper training before proceeding.
