The public is invited to a presentation being held at the Mary Lou Johnson Library on Tuesday July 23.   Heartbeat of Hardin County and Safe Haven representatives will share very important information about human trafficking.   Free snacks and drinks will be provided.   The presentation will start at 6 that evening.

Fair Board Postpones July Meeting

The July meeting of the Hardin County Fair board of directors which was originally scheduled for Wednesday, July 3rd has been postponed due to an anticipated lack of quorum.    That lack of quorum is due to the majority of the board of directors that are farming.    The postponed meeting will be held on Wednesday, July 10th at 7pm in the fair office on the fairgrounds.

Kenton School Summer Lunch Program Continues

The Kenton City School District provides free meals to children during the summer as part of the USDA Summer Food Service Program. This summer, meals are being served at several locations throughout the city of Kenton. There are no income requirements or registration for summer lunch. ANY child under age 18 may come to eat. Patrol Continues Focus on Impaired Driving Enforcement

Findlay – As part of the Patrol’s ongoing effort to make Ohio’s roadways safer, troopers are continuing to focus on impaired driving enforcement. During the first five months of 2019, troopers have made more than 10,000 arrests for impaired driving, resulting in 22 fewer OVI-related fatal crashes. In 2018, there were 13,364 OVI-related crashes on Ohio roadways, killing 402 people and injuring 7,811 others. Pets Need Special Attention During Fireworks

Columbus Man Arrested and is Facing Sex Related Charges

A 23 year old Columbus man is facing several sex related charges after being arrested near the Hoffman Pool in Bellefontaine over the weekend.   WPKO Radio reported that Bellefontaine police arrested John Flood after he was allegedly caught in the back seat of his vehicle with a 14 year old boy.   Flood, who is facing multiple felony charges, is said to have arranged to meet the boy at the pool on a social media app.   He claimed […]
