Celina Recovery Service Center Closing on Tuesday

The Celina Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) will close permanently on Tuesday, July 9, 2019, at 7 p.m.    Survivors do not need to visit a DRC to register with FEMA or get assistance.   DRCs offer in-person support to individuals and business owners.    FEMA closes recovery centers when daily visits have decreased and there is no longer a significant need in the community for in-person support.   Survivors needing help always have the option to call the FEMA Helpline […]

Two People Arrested in Incidents that Started This Past Wednesday

Armed Robbery Under Investigation in Findlay

An armed robbery that occurred this past Wednesday in Findlay is under investigation.   According to a release from the Findlay Police Department, officers were dispatched to the Kroger Store on Sixth Avenue in the city.   It was reported that a male entered the store, demanded money and left on a bicycle.   He made off with an undisclosed amount of money.   The suspect is described as white, between 25-35 years old, approximately 5 feet nine inches tall […]

Car Damages After Striking Debris in the Roadway in Wyandot County

Disabling damage occurred to a car that struck material in the roadway on U.S. 33 in Wyandot County on Thursday.   According to the report from the Wyandot County Sheriff's Office, 22 year old Michael Kochenderfer was driving east on 30 when his vehicle struck a large piece of semi tire that was lying in the roadway.   The driver and a passenger in the car were not injured.

Lima Symphony Orchestra Performs Patriotic Pops Concert at ONU

Fourth of July Parade in Kenton Starts at 10am

Tomorrow is the Fourth of July, and for those looking for a parade, you'll find one starting from the Hardin County Fairgrounds. The parade will form at nine Thursday morning and will move out starting at 10. The route is from the fairgrounds, moving north on Main Street (SR 31) into the downtown, around the square and then south on Detroit Street (US 68) back to the fairgrounds. The fireworks display at the fairgrounds will start at 10 Thursday night.

OhioHealth Hardin Memorial Hospital to Expand Services

Hardin Memorial Hospital has embarked on a new renovation project that will enable them to expand their infusion services to include chemotherapy. The infusions will take place in a brand new state-of-the-art infusion area located in the Outpatient Department on the 2nd floor. Medical providers order infusion, the administration of medication through a needle or catheter, when a patient’s condition does not allow them to be treated with oral medications. Storm Blows Through Mt. Victory Tuesday

Several trees, limbs and power lines were downed in a storm that blew through the Village of Mt. Victory Tuesday evening. In addition, a house fire was reported in the 100 block of East Marion Street in the village. No information on the fire is available at this time. As of this morning, a hand full of residents were without electricity, according to information from American Electric Power. There were no reports of injuries.

Man Arrested Following Stand-Off with Findlay Police

A man was arrested in Findlay following a standoff with Findlay police Tuesday afternoon. According to a release, officers were dispatched to a domestic dispute where gunshots were fired.
