Three people were sentenced recently in Hardin County Common Pleas Court.   According to documents from Prosecutor Brad Bailey's Office, the following three individuals were each placed on five years community control with conditions:   .Brandon W. Breaking and Entering at Wyandot County Business Reported Thursday

A breaking and entering was reported to the Wyandot County Sheriff's Office Thursday morning.   According to the report, a deputy was dispatched to Kirby Sand and Gravel on County Highway 43 to investigate the incident.   It was discovered that someone cut a lock on the southeast drive gate and drove onto the property.   Around 20 large truck batteries, several aluminum truck rims and numerous other items were stolen.   Deputies were able to photograph tire tracks and […]

Theft at Business in Findlay Under Investigation

A theft was reported Thursday morning at 777 Games on Tiffin Avenue is Findlay.   According to a release, officers were dispatched to the business for a theft in progress.   An employee said a while male about 6 feet tall wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black and white skull bandanna and aviator sunglasses was standing outside. Hardin County Fairgrounds Closed June 18-21

The Hardin County Fairgrounds will be closed next week while the grandstand is being painted.   Officials were concerned about overspray being ingested by people as well as damaging vehicles in the area.   The grounds will be closed Tuesday June 18 through Friday the 21, and is set to reopen June 24.   During that time, operations will be by email only. Secretary Judi Cronley can be reached by emailing secretary@hardincountyfair.org.   Voicemails will also be checked remotely.

Tickets Still On Sale for Ballpark Bash

Tickets are still on sale for the second Ballpark Bash later this summer.   The event raises money for the Home Run Memorial Park and was a success in its inaugural year.   Four bands, some returning from last year, will perform August 17 at the ballpark. A new band, KISS tribute band Mr. Speed, was added to this year's lineup.   For more information, tune in Public Eye, Saturday morning at 7:35 and Sunday at noon on WKTN.

Law Enforcement Torch Relay for Special Olympics in Allen County Monday

Survey Shows 80% Plan to Celebrate Father’s Day

Marysville Man Killed in Logan County Motorcycle Crash

A Marysville man was killed in a motorcycle crash Wednesday afternoon near Bellefontaine.   WPKO Radio reported that 20 year old Mark Jarrell was riding the motorcycle east on County Road 10 when a vehicle being driven by 24 year old Tiffany Dewitt, of West Mansfield, pulled into his path from County Road 55.   The motorcycle hit the side of the sport utility vehicle, and Jarrell was ejected.   He was transported to Mary Rutan Hospital where he was […]
