Elwood Motorsport Team is beginning their toy drive through July. Items must be new and can be dropped off at Elwood Motorsports in Forest Ohio or by contacting Tevon Elwood, Alan Elwood or Meghan Elwood to arrange drop off. A domestic violence situation was reported to Kenton police early Wednesday morning. According to the report, officers were dispatched to the 700 block of West Lima Street in reference to an assault. The male victim was allegedly assaulted by his girlfriend. The 20 year old suspect is facing an assault charge. The incident is under investigation.
A woman from Marion was arrested following an incident at Forest Court Apartments. According to the report, an officer from the Kenton Police Department was investigating a separate incident involving the suspect when he discovered there was a warrant for her arrest out of the Delaware County Sheriff's Office. 38 year old Melissa Morrison was taken into custody and eventually transported to the Multi-County Jail in Marion.
A Kenton man was arrested on a warrant following an incident late Wednesday night.
