Two Vehicles Damaged in Wyandot County Crash

Two vehicles were damaged in a crash that occurred over the weekend in Wyandot County.   According to the report from the Wyandot County Sheriff's Office, 43 year old Patricia Risner, of Carey, drove from County Highway 93 onto U.S. 23, and her vehicle struck the left side trailer tires on a semi being operated by 51 year old Ernie Meadows, of Ashville.   Moderate damage occurred to both vehicles.   There were no injuries, and Risner was cited for […]

Bluffton Teen Involved in Hancock County Crash

  A Bluffton teenager was cited following a weekend crash in Hancock County.   According to the report from the Findlay Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, 17 year old Garrison Holland was traveling east on County Road 313 and went off the left side of the road, where his car struck a stop sign.   Moderate damage occurred to the car.   Holland was not injured.   He was cited for failing to maintain reasonable control.

Club 250 Winner fro Week 27 Announced

KENTON-Hardin County Soroptimist International announced the Club 250 winner for week 27.   Be Rice-Anderson will receive $100.   Club 250 is a fundraiser that helps to award scholarships to local women and girls.   The group also announced that the June meeting will take place this Thursday June 6 at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Kenton.   Social time will begin at 5:30, and the meeting starts at 6pm.

Hardin County Ran for Down Syndrome

            One hundred and thirty runners came out to show support at the inaugural Hardin County Runs for Down Syndrom 5K event on Saturday, June 1st, 2019. BWC Drops Coverage for Oxycontin Starting June 1

COLUMBUS — A plan by the Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation (BWC) to phase out coverage for Oxycontin and its generic form by the end of the year begins Saturday.   Given their potential for abuse, misuse, addiction, and dependence, BWC will no longer pay for Oxycontin or generic sustained-release oxycodone tablets for workers who suffer on-the-job injuries on or after June 1.
