Allen County Teen Charged Following School Threat

An Allen County teenager is facing charges after allegedly making a school shooting threat.   Hometown Stations reported that Delphos police arrested the 16 year old, and he has been charged with inducing panic.   The threats to shoot up Delphos St. John's High School were said to have been made on social media.   The incident remains under investigation.

Theft of Motorcycle Reported to KPD

The theft of a motorcycle was reported to Kenton police on Monday.   According to the report, a woman told officers that she left a motorcycle inside a garage on property she owns in Kenton.   The woman currently lives in Indiana, and she said when she returned to the property, the garage had been entered, and the motorcycle was missing.   The theft occurred sometime since December of 2018.   The motorcycle was valued at $4000.   The incident […]

Findlay Woman Cited in Wyandot County Incident

A Findlay woman was cited following an incident in Wyandot County Monday.   According to the Wyandot County Sheriff's Office report, a deputy was dispatched to the 1500 block of State Highway 568 to investigate a complaint about a car that caused damage on the property.   A resident said the vehicle drove through the yard and struck landscape pavers, causing damage to the landscape and the foundation of the garage.   The vehicle was located down the road in […]

Ada 4th Graders Place 3rd in Math Competition

The Ada 4th graders had two teams place 3rd in the state for the TAPS Math competition.   Fourteen students participated in the competition.   The other groups placed a point or two out of 3rd place.   TAPS stands for Team Approach to Problem Solving.

Findlay Police Department Reports Scam Phone Calls

The Findlay Police Department received a report that an anonymous person is calling residents, claiming to represent the “Findlay Police Fund” and seeking donations.   According to a release from the department, no such organization exists and the Findlay Police Department is not soliciting donations from the public.   If you receive a similar call, hang up and do not engage with the caller.
