Benefit Spaghetti Dinner Being Served at Ridgemont

Ridgemont's Spanish Club is hosting a Spaghetti Dinner fundraiser to help raise money for their 2020 educational trip to Europe.   The dinner includes spaghetti with sauce, salad, a bread stick, dessert, and a drink.   The cost is $10 for adults, $7 for kids 10 and under.   Dinner will be served starting at at 5:00, on Friday evening before the Boys Basketball game against Waynesfield Goshen.   No tickets necessary, and carryout is available.

2 Florida Men Charged Following Traffic Stop in Wood County

COLUMBUS – Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers filed felony drug charges against two Florida men after a traffic stop in Wood County. During the traffic stop, troopers seized more than 4 pounds of cocaine worth $84,000 and a loaded .380 handgun. 6-State Trooper Project to Focus on I-75

COLUMBUS – The Ohio State Highway Patrol and other members of the 6-State Trooper Project will collaborate to focus on speed, safety belt and OVI enforcement along Interstate 75. BWC Pledges Money to Help Law Enforcement Purchase Body Armor

Man Facing Attempted Murder After Firing Shots in Marion

The Hardin County Engineer's Office announced a road opening and a road closure.   According to information from the office, Washington Township Road 85, between County Road 14 and Township Road 30, is now open.   Roundhead Township Road 21, between Township Road 150 and 152, is closed due to high water and ice.

Wyandot County Woman Victim of a Scam

A Wyandot County woman was the victim of a scam involving an internet loan company.   According to the Wyandot County Sheriff's Office report, the Harpster woman told deputies that she gave the company identified as Cash Advance Incorporated her bank's routing number and her account number, and the company withdrew money from her account leaving her with a balance of negative $700.   She was advised that this is a scam, and that she would need to contact her […]
