KENTON-Hardin Co. Soroptimist International announced the Club 250 winner for week 15. Dustin Cramer will receive $100. Club 250 is a fundraiser that helps to award scholarships to local women and girls.

The average price for a gallon of gas in Hardin County jumped 11 cents from last Monday AAA reported the average price for a gallon of regular grade gas was $2.33 today, compared to last Monday's $2.22. Aircraft Flips on Landing at Union County Airport
An aircraft flipped over Thursday while attempting to land in Union County around 10:30 Thursday morning. According to the Daily Media Release from the Union County Sheriff's Office, deputies were dispatched to the Union County Airport after the pilot of the aircraft lost control due to a gust of wind while trying to land. The plane went off the runway and flipped over coming to rest on its top. There were no reports of injuries.
