A Ridgeway man was among two people injured in a crash that occurred this morning on State Route 347 in Logan County. A new Treasurer was hired by the Ridgemont School District. It was announced at a special meeting Wednesday evening that Melissa Pollom was hired by the Board of Education. She was given a three year contract to manage the district's finances beginning April 8. Pollom spent the past ten years as Assistant to the Treasurer at Tolles Career and Technical Center. Fatal traffic crashes have risen sharply this year as compared to last year in Hancock County. According to a release from the Findlay Post of the Ohio State Patrol, in the first three months of 2019, there have been six fatal traffic crashes resulting in nine deaths.
