Storm Spotter Training Class Cancelled

Hardin County EMA Director Jake Burgbacher and the National Weather Service have announced that the storm spotter training class for this evening has been cancelled.   Burgbacher said the decision was made due to the threat of severe weather this evening. United Way 2019 Campaign Comes Up Short of Goal

The 2019 campaign of United Way of Hardin County came up short of its goal, but not because of a lack of effort.   At the Annual Meeting held this morning, it was announced that just over $188,500 was pledged. The goal was $220,000.   Executive Director Darlene Foreman said the 21 partner agencies will be receiving their share of just over $155,000.
