Several Ordinances and Resolutions Passed by Kenton City Council Including One to Outsource Crack Sealing City Streets

A resolution and an ordinance were both passed on first reading after suspension of the three-reading rule at the Kenton City Council meeting Monday evening. Bluffton University Coach to Present Civic Engagement Forum April 7

BLUFFTON, Ohio — Chris Scott, head track and field coach at Bluffton University, will present the Civic Engagement Day Forum, “Competition with My Neighbor: The Good and the Bad,” at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, April 7, in Yoder Recital Hall.  Scott will explore how competition shapes relationships before, during and after the game, and how love of neighbor can inform athletic engagement.  The Forum is free and open to the public.

Dunkirk Annual Easter Egg Hunt Scheduled for Saturday

The Dunkirk C.I.C. and community businesses are holding their annual Easter Egg Hunt this Saturday, March 28. It will start at 2 p.m. at the Dunkirk Community Park. Age groups are 2 to 3, 4 to 6, 7 to 9 and 10 to 12 years old. Children under 2 will receive their eggs from the Easter Bunny. Lots of candy and prizes will be given away.

Hardin County OSU Extension Master Gardeners The date for the Hardin County Master Gardener Volunteer Annual Plant Sale has been set. It will take place on Saturday, May 16 from 10 AM until noon at the Friendship Gardens. The gardens are located at 960 West Kohler Street in Kenton.
