Harrod Man Involved in Allen County Crash Wednesday

A Harrod man escaped injuries in a one vehicle crash that occurred early Wednesday morning on I75 in Allen County. According to the report from the Ohio State Highway Patrol, 19-year-old Wyatt Frueh lost control of his vehicle when a rear tire blew out while driving south on 75. United Way Announces Date for 4th Annual Bourbon Ball

United Way of Hardin County's 4th annual Bourbon Ball will be held October 17. It will start at 7 that evening at the Varsity Venue in Kenton. This year's theme is Black Flame Candle. Y Hosting Back to School Mom to Mom Sale

Hardin County Family YMCA is hosting a Back to School Mom to Mom Sale August 15. It will take place from 9am until noon this Saturday at the Y, located at 918 West Franklin Street in Kenton. There will be kids clothing, toys, baby gear, books and strollers. Gently used children's items will have affordable prices. Admission is one dollar for those 8 and older. KES Holding Open Houses

Kenton Elementary School will host open houses on August 24 and 25. Preschool through second grade will be from 4 until 6pm on Monday the 24 and third through fifth grade will be from 4 until 6 on Tuesday the 25. Several important items will be discussed during the open house. They include transportation, fees, supplies, paperwork and more. The first day of school for Kenton students is Wednesday August 26.
