Meijer in Lima Temporarily Closed After Shots Fired

Meijer in Lima was temporarily closed Monday evening after shots were fired at the store. According to a release, Allen County Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to store on Elida Road at around 4:10 Monday afternoon, and the scene was secured. No suspects are in custody at this time. The investigation is ongoing.

Day 2 Brings Harness Racing and Tough Trucks at Marion County Fair

It's day number two for the Marion County Fair. Daily admission is $10 for 11 and over and free for 10 and under. Children 15 and under must be accompanied by a paid adult. Harness Racing and Tough Truck competition are featured in the in the grandstand today.
