Hardin County Board of Elections to Meet on Friday

The Hardin County Board of Elections will meet this Friday, February 6th,  2026, at 8:30 a.m. in their office in the courthouse for their monthly Board Meeting.  This is a change of the original Board Meeting date of February 12, 2026.  The meeting date has been changed to meet the Ohio Secretary of State’s deadline for certification of petitions.

After seating a jury and presenting opening statements, the State began laying out its case against Andrew McCafferty yesterday in Hardin County. Prosecutor Brad Bailey called three witnesses to the stand Monday afternoon. Marion Police Seek Public’s Help Locating Missing 17-Year-Old

Marion, Ohio Police Department The Marion Police Department is asking for assistance in locating 17 year old Preston Jolley, who was reported to MPD as a runaway on 1/16/26. Preston is 6'9" tall, 238 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. It is believed that he is in the Marion area or possibly Delaware, Ohio.
