Austin Dysert Named 3rd Team All-WBL

Kenton baseball’s Austin Dysert was named to the 3rd Team All-Western Buckeye League for the 2026 season. He posted an impressive .448 batting average and a .531 on-base percentage, both ranking in the top five in the conference. The junior showed great discipline at the plate, striking out just five times in 81 appearances. Haven Conley also earned an honorable mention from the conference.

Hardin Northern Softball’s Historic 2026 Campaign Ends in Regional Semifinals

The 2026 season was a memorable one for Hardin Northern softball, as the Polar Bears claimed their first outright NWCC championship since 2015. Head coach Boyd Stewart was named NWCC Coach of the Year, and nine players earned All-NWCC honors for their standout performances. The team’s success carried into the postseason, where they made the school’s first-ever trip to regionals. Although they fell in a shutout in the regional semifinals, Hardin Northern still managed to outscore their postseason opponents 13–10.

Ada Baseball to Hold Youth Camp July 10th and 11th

The Ada Bulldogs Baseball team is hosting a youth camp on July 10 and 11. For a $30 registration fee, each camper gets two days of hands-on coaching from Coach Deitering and members of the baseball program, plus two tickets to a Dayton Dragons baseball game. Falcons Soaring to Regionals

Riverdale will be sending athletes to regionals in track & field in a plethora of events. On the boys’ side, Grant Inbody earned his spot in the shot put and claimed the district title in discus. Jake Cook and Riley Newton Head to Regionals

Riley Newton and Jake Cook will both advance to Regionals in track & field for the Hardin Northern Polar Bears. Cook finished 4th in the high jump while Newton advanced in the 100m, 200m, and 400m. They will now compete at regionals at Fostoria High School, held Thursday, May 28th, and Saturday, May 30th.

Wildcats Punch Their Ticket to Regionals in Nine Events

The Kenton Wildcats had a phenomenal showing at this year's OHSAA district track & field meet. Eight Wildcats in total secured a spot at regionals in Piqua next week. The girls’ 4x800m relay team of Marissa Ledley, Quinlyn Spearman, Addy Haudenschield, and Addi Manns took 4th place to advance. This season, four Ridgemont High School softball players earned recognition from the Northwest Central Conference. Riley Hites was named First Team All-NWCC, Addison Coy secured a spot on the Second Team, and teammates Aubrie Overly and Brilynn Rudasill received honorable mentions.
