Wildcats Fell to Defending WBL Champions in Boys Golf

The Kenton boys varsity golf team hit the road Thursday to face the defending Western Buckeye League champs, Ottawa-Glandorf. The Titans took the win with a 149-180 score over the Wildcats. Austin Root led Kenton with a 42, followed by Brayden Lowe with a 44 and Anden Goldsmith with a 45. Oliver Sneary shot a 49, while Rhoen Goldsmith and Quin Kozman each carded 52. Hardin Northern Downs McComb in Three Sets

Hardin Northern and McComb went head-to-head in high school volleyball on Wednesday August 19th. In varsity action the Polar Bears were victorious in three sets 25-20, 25-16, 31-29. Hope Ribley lead the team with 14 kills, Kendall Frank had a whopping 39 assists, and Lexi Oakley lead in digs with 19. Hardin Northern also took victories in the JV and freshman contests.

USV Volleyball Falls to Ada

The Upper Scioto Valley Rams varsity volleyball team fell to Ada in three tight sets on Wednesday, August 19th, at the USV Alumni Fieldhouse in McGuffey. It was the Rams’ season opener, with the set scores coming in at 18-25, 22-25, and 23-25. Ben Logan Narrowly Defeats Indian Lake in Girls Golf

Despite the muddy and wet conditions, the Benjamin Logan varsity girls golf team won a dual match against Indian Lake on Tuesday night at Cherokee Hills Golf Course. USV Begins Fall Sports Season

The first week of USV athletics for the 2026–27 fall sports season is here, kicking off with Junior High Volleyball at Waynesfield-Goshen on Tuesday, August 18 at 5:30 PM. On Wednesday, August 19, High School Volleyball takes on Ada at home at 5:30 PM. Thursday, August 20 features Junior High Football at North Baltimore at 5:30 PM, and the week wraps up on Friday, August 21 with High School Football against Ada at home at 7:00 PM.
