Kenton Girls Varsity Softball beats Ottawa-Glandorf 15 – 5

The Wildcats take a 5 inning win against Ottawa-Glandorf. Brynn Butler led on offense with 4 hits bringing in 4 runs. Altogether the Wildcats pulled in 10 stolen bases and 9 hits on the day. Emily Pees, Riley Totten, Brayla Butler, Alexis Ratliff, and Brailyn Thacker all had hits. Ratliff had a great day on the mound and there was great effort put in by everyone on the team.

The girls' team began their season by taking 5th place out of 8 teams at the Celina Invite. Notably, they outperformed Elida, Ottoville, and Decatur Bellmont. Kenton Senior Anthony Hunt is ready to compete in the 2024 OHSAA Div II State Wrestling tournament this weekend at the Schottenstein Center on the campus of The Ohio State University. Anthony is the 6th Kenton Wrestler to qualify for State, and the first since Noah Eikenbary in 2020.
