Kenton/Allen East Team-Up for Not By Choice Outreach

The Kenton Girls Basketball program, and Allen East Girls Basketball program teamed up to raise money and awareness for Not By Choice Outreach during their game on Tuesday, November 29th. Not By Choice Outreach provides help to those suffering from cancer in the form of gas cards, food pantry, hats, wigs, scarves, and support groups to those suffering from cancer and their caregivers. High School State Championship Football Games Scheduled this Weekend

Seven high school football state champions will be crowned this week at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton.  One school in our region is still alive in the playoffs. Number one seed Marion Local will take on number 2 seed Kirtland for the Division VI Championship. The game featuring the undefeated teams will kick off at 10:30 this Saturday morning Tickets are on sale and must be purchased in advance at: ohsaa.org/tickets

Kenton Varsity Lady Wildcats Defeat Ben Logan and move to 2-0.

The Kenton Lady Wildcats improved to 2-0 on the young season by defeating Benjamin Logan 58-42 in girls basketball action Monday. Olivia Nolting had 17 points to lead Kenton while Ali Harpel scored 13 points and Tatum Miller finished with 13 points & 8 rebounds. Mia Stahler scored 11 points to pace the Raiders (1-1). Miller was named the Ace Hardware Player of the Game.

Kenton High School Girls Varsity Basketball beat Lima Central Catholic 52-46

Wildcats came alive in the 2nd half to overcome a double digit deficit to win their season opener over LCC 52-46. The Cats had a very balanced attack: Tatum Miller scored 15 points, Ali Harpel 11 points, Liv Nolting 10 points, Macee Heckathorn 10 points, and Sadie Larrabee 6 points. Riverdale Esports Successful.

It was a huge night for The Riverdale Falcon Esports team this past Monday night. Premier 1 finished 12th in the state tournament! There were 87 teams total when we started the season. Mustangs and Flyers to Clash in Regional Finals

The Regional Finals of the Ohio High School Athletic Conference football playoffs pit two teams from our region against each other. In Division 6, Region 24, number one seed Marion Local will take on number two seed Allen East. The game will be played Saturday November 19 at Wapakoneta. Kickoff will be at 7 that evening. Kenton Bowling Team Tryouts this Week

Bowling Team practices and tryouts for Kenton are taking place this week at Hillcrest Lanes.  Practices started this past Monday and will go through Thursday from 3:30-5:30pm each day. More girl bowlers are needed in order to have a team this year.
