Upper Sandusky Boys and Girls Cross Country Place 3rd at Districts

The USHS boys and girls cross country teams both finished 3rd in the district cross country meet on Saturday at Galion to qualify for the regionals. Both teams will compete in the regional meet on Saturday, October 29 at Hedges-Boyer Park in Tiffin. Tentative starting times are 1:00 p.m. for the boys and 1:45 p.m. for the girls. Several county and regional schools will be participating in the first round of the Ohio High School Athletic Association football playoffs this weekend. In Division VII, Region 26: The 8 and 2 Upper Scioto Valley Rams will host Pandora-Gilboa, which has a record of 7-3. Riverdale Boys Soccer Team Win Sectional Title

Riverdale advances to a district matchup against Bluffton. The game will be played in Tiffin this Wednesday evening beginning at 7.

Kenton beats Napoleon 3-1 to Nap Sectional Crown

The Kenton Wildcats defeated Napoleon 3-1 Thursday at Merold Field to win a Division 2 boys soccer sectional championship. Kenton improves to 14-3-1 and will face St. Mary’s in the district semifinals Monday at Elida. Napoleon ends its season at 6-12-1. The Hardin Northern High School volleyball team will be playing at Mohawk this (Thursday) evening at 7:30 in the Ohio High School Athletic Association sectional final game.   All tickets must be purchased online at: ohsaa.org/tickets Hardin Northern is in the Division IV, Region 14, Mt. Kenton High School Girls Varsity Soccer falls to Liberty-Benton 5-0
