Hardin Northern Hosting Baseball and Softball Hitting Leagues

Baseball and softball players grades Kindergarten through eight are eligible to join winter hitting leagues hosted by the Hardin Northern Local School District.  Seven-inning or 45-minute games will be held between five-player squads each Sunday afternoon from January 17 through February 21.  Area coaches will also be on hand to provide players with hitting instruction.  Email Coach Jeff Price price@hardinnorthern.org or call 419-674-8007 for more information.

The Defiance Bulldogs defeated the Kenton Wildcats 61-38 in Western Buckeye League boys basketball play Friday.Kenton jumped out to an early 6-2 lead but Defiance responded with a 17-2 run to take control of the game. Kenton High School wrestlers competed, but fell to the Defiance Bulldogs 33-42 at home on Thursday night. Of the eight contested matches, three Wildcats came out on top. Kenton’s Eikenbary Records 100th Wrestling Victory

Kenton wrestler Noah Eikenbary reached a milestone in his high school career last week. Eikenbary reached his 100th career varsity win. He becomes the 1st Kenton Wrestler to earn the distinction.
