HN Students Getting Free Tickets to Football Game

Jacob Eversole caught a 16-yard touchdown pass from Blaine Huston with 9.8 seconds left to give the Kenton Wildcats a 14-9 victory over the Ottawa-Glandorf Titans Friday at Robinson Field. First place in the Western Buckeye League will be on the line Friday when the Kenton Wildcats host the Ottawa-Glandorf Titans. The Titans are 7-1 overall and are alone atop the WBL with a 7-0 league mark. Kenton’s defense was too much for Shawnee as the Wildcats blanked the Indians 28-0 in Western Buckeye League play Friday at Robinson Field. The Indians (3-5 overall, 2-5 WBL) were held to 107 yards of offense. Kenton’s defense forced five three-and-outs, held the Indians to 2-of-11 on third-down tries and caused three turnovers. The Kenton Wildcats Boys Soccer team won its third consecutive sectional title with a 3-0 win over Wapakoneta on Thursday night. The Kenton Wildcats defeated the Van Wert Cougars 48-25 Friday night in Western Buckeye League football action at Eggerss Stadium. Kenton (5-2 overall, 5-1 WBL) built a 34-7 halftime lead but the Cougars (3-4, 2-4) clawed to within 34-19 before the Cats iced the game in the fourth quarter.
