Pandemic Moves Riverdale BB Schedule

Riverdale High School has been forced to postpone an upcoming boys’ basketball game. The Falcons’ upcoming tilt against Cory-Rawson has been moved from Friday, January 22, to Saturday, January 23, because of coronavirus issues at Cory-Rawson. The night is expected to begin with the junior-varsity game tipping off at five p.m.

Carter Bays Goes Undefeated At Allen East

While Kenton High School's wrestling team failed to win any of their dual meets at Allen East over the weekend, 170-pound senior Carter Bays added five victories to his resume, scoring two pins, two decisions, and one forfeit. Bays' decisions came against Allen East's Gage Wireman and Grant Young of Van Buren. His win over Fremont Ross came via forfeit, and matches against Mikey Brzeczek of Woodmore and Justin Flanders of Columbus Grove ended in pin fall victories for Bays. […]

The Kenton Lady Wildcats improved to 6-6 on the season and 3-2 in the WBL as they downed the Wapakoneta Redskins last night by the score of 39-28. The Cats Lead at the half by 6 and won by 11 points. Kenton High School wrestlers travelled to Wapakoneta to face the Redskins and Liberty Benton in a Tri-meet on Thursday night. Coach Jay Bostelman and the Kenton Lady Wildcats, wrapped up a decisive 68-28 win over the Elgin Comets Tuesday night taking them to 5-6 on the year. Kenton dominated the entire game and led 37-15 at the half. UNOH Promotes Segura to Interim Head Coach of Women’s Basketball Team

The University of Northwestern Ohio is announcing the promotion of assistant coach Jill Segura to interim head coach of the Women’s Basketball team after the resignation of John McGinty. Segura began her career with the Racers in June, 2019. Hardin Northern Hosting Baseball and Softball Hitting Leagues

The Defiance Bulldogs defeated the Kenton Wildcats 61-38 in Western Buckeye League boys basketball play Friday.Kenton jumped out to an early 6-2 lead but Defiance responded with a 17-2 run to take control of the game.
