Kenton Girls Tennis Team Competed in WBL Tournament

The Kenton girls tennis team travelled to the University of Northwestern Ohio on Thursday for their annual Western Buckeye League Tournament. Having a big win Thursday was senior and first singles player who was seeded number four Mykaela Schriber in her first round match. Kenton Falls to St. Marys in WBL Volleyball Match

The Kenton Lady Cats dropped their WBL volleyball match to St. Marys in straight sets 11-25, 11-25, and 12-25. The Lady Cats fought hard throughout the entire match, but were just unable to get their footing in their third match of the week. The JV and Freshman teams also dropped their matches to St. Marys in straight sets.

Riverdale defeated Upper Sandusky 6-1 in girls soccer Thursday. Match notes: .Regular season North Central Ohio Soccer Association match. Goal notes: .On Upper Sandusky's goal, Riley Messersmith was fouled in the penalty area from behind by a Riverdale defender. Messersmith converted her own penalty kick for the goal. Elida Football Coach Resigns

OHSAA Releases First Weekly Football Computer Ratings

The Ohio High School Athletic Association released the first official weekly football computer ratings Tuesday afternoon.    The weekly computer ratings are released every Tuesday beginning in the fifth week of the season, leading up to the final report on Sunday, November 3, when 224 schools (top 8 in each region) will officially qualify for the playoffs.    In Division IV Region 16, Kenton is ranked at number 10.   The Cats take on Wapakoneta this Friday night.   The […]

Kenton Boys Soccer Team Shuts Down Van Wert

Kenton recorded its 7th shutout on the season and improved to 7-2-3 (3-1-2 WBL) after defeating Van Wert 5-0.
