The Lady Cats dropped a tough match to Bellefontaine 3 sets to 1 18-25, 25-17, 18-25, and 23-25. Leading the fight for the Lady Cats was Lacie Nichols with 9 digs and 4 kills and Jenna Manns with 7 digs, 9 assists, and she accounted for 21 points while serving including 3 aces. Also chipping in were Erin Lyons and Lascha Wells with 5 kills each. The JV won their match in 3 sets 26-24, 16-25, and 25-17.

The Kenton girls tennis team travelled to the University of Northwestern Ohio on Thursday for their annual Western Buckeye League Tournament. Having a big win Thursday was senior and first singles player who was seeded number four Mykaela Schriber in her first round match.
