A Ribbon Cutting Ceremony was held Friday at the new Kenton Senior High School Athletic Complex. The Hardin County Chamber and Business Alliance conducted the ceremony, which included the recognition of numerous donors who made the prject possible. The facility is located at 200 Harding Avenue, next to the Kenton Senior High School.
Senior Kenton Wildcat Quarterback Jaron Sharp signed his National Letter of Intent on this week to play football at Division II Tiffin University. Celebrating in the moment were his father CJ Sharp, who is also a coach on staff, mother Kiley Sharp, sister Mahaila Sharp, and head football coach, Brent Fackler.

Josh Hart (126) pulled out a last minute pin fall over Krieshna Nongkham. After giving up seven uncontested matches, Kenton Middle School wrestlers fell to Lima Shawnee 12-70. Kenton wrestlers that came away with a win were Anthony Hunt, Landen Elliott and Aaron Modd. Hunt defeated Donavyn Campbell by 10-3 decision at the 92 lb weight class. Elliott pinned Levi Lightle at 98 lbs and Modd beat Austin Horn in a close 6-5 match at 110 lbs.
