Ribbon Cutting Held at Kenton Athletic Complex

A Ribbon Cutting Ceremony was held Friday at the new Kenton Senior High School Athletic Complex.   The Hardin County Chamber and Business Alliance conducted the ceremony, which included the recognition of numerous donors who made the prject possible. The facility is located at 200 Harding Avenue, next to the Kenton Senior High School.

Senior Kenton Wildcat Quarterback Jaron Sharp signed his National Letter of Intent on this week to play football at Division II Tiffin University. Langston McClain and Eli Esguerra are State Bound for Youth Wrestling and both are members of the Ada Youth Wrestling Club. Esguerra wrestled at the OAC Grade School District Championship in Thomas Worthington & he got 1st place in the Division 3 110lbs bracket. Kenton High School Coed Varsity Wrestling beat Shawnee High School 27-26. The Kenton Wildcat grapplers edge out the Shawnee Indians 27-26 Monday night in WBL action. Josh Hart (126) pulled out a last minute pin fall over Krieshna Nongkham. After giving up seven uncontested matches, Kenton Middle School wrestlers fell to Lima Shawnee 12-70. Kenton wrestlers that came away with a win were Anthony Hunt, Landen Elliott and Aaron Modd.
