Twelve-year-old Sadie Mustain from Kenton earned a spot in the 2026 Great Lakes YMCA Zone Championship that took place March 21-22 at CT Branin Natatorium in Canton, OH. The competition featured YMCA teams from Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, and West Virginia. Swimmers secure their place in events during the YMCA season by meeting qualifying times in their respective races. Henry Stolly has stepped down as head coach of the Bellefontaine High School boys basketball team, wrapping up an impressive coaching career that spanned over 30 years. A BHS graduate, Stolly led the boys’ team in two stints, from 2007-2016 and again from 2020 until now, with a stretch in between coaching the girls’ team. This past season, Zimmerman topped the team in points and 3-pointers and earned a spot on the All-BVC First Team. His sharp shooting played a big role in helping Ada notch their best regular-season record in 16 years.
Riverdale’s Brody Berger put on an impressive performance at this year’s Nike Indoor Nationals. With a throw of 73’10.5”, he placed 9th among the top 64 throwers in the country. That effort earned him 2nd Team All-American honors and secured his spot as the #2 junior in the nation at Nationals.

Isaac Blevins took 3rd place at the 2026 OHSAA Div. II State Wrestling Tournament. He is Kenton’s highest finisher since Wade Burba, who finished 2nd in 1993, and the first Wildcat to place at state since Gabe King took 8th in 2012.
