Today’s high school baseball game between Kenton and Ridgemont has been called off. Ridgemont has also announced some schedule changes for both baseball and softball. The games against Ridgedale, originally set for May 5th, have been rescheduled to May 7th because of a concert at Ridgedale.
The Kenton Wildcat Boys Tennis team pulled off a 3-2 victory when they hosted River Valley on Saturday morning for a non-league match. Yesterday, OHSAA revealed the divisional reclassifications for the 2026 football season, based on projected school enrollments rather than performance. Coldwater and Bluffton will move up from D6 to D5, while Ada and Columbus Grove will rise from D7 to D6. Meanwhile, Findlay, Lima Bath, and Riverdale will each drop down a division.
Riverdale baseball celebrated the life and career of Coach Wes Davis during their game against Cory-Rawson. Upper Scioto Valley pulled off a close 7-6 win over Elgin on Tuesday (4/21) in Northwest Central Conference play. The victory marked their second straight, bringing their record to 2-7 overall and 2-2 in the conference. Beau Sanders was the star for the Rams, tossing a complete game with just 3 earned runs allowed and driving in 2 runs at the plate. The Rams are back in action on Thursday when they travel to Continental for a non-conference game.

Riverdale will be hosting a no-fee tryout for a new girls' U12 soccer team on May 4th. The tryout will take place at the Riverdale youth soccer fields in Forest at 6 PM.
