After a string of cancellations, Kenton High School’s varsity baseball team finally hit the field again. The Wildcats hadn’t played since their March 30th season opener, but they showed no signs of rust, crushing county rival Hardin Northern 18-1 to improve to 2-0 on the year. If the weather cooperates, Wildcat baseball will be back on its home field tonight (April 9th) to take on WBL rival Memorial at 5:30 PM.
All Kenton Wildcat athletics have been canceled for this evening. This includes Kenton vs Memorial in high school baseball, which was due to be broadcast live on WKTN.
Due to unplayable field conditions at USV's home fields, tonight's baseball and softball games between the Rams and New Knoxville Rangers have been moved to New Knoxville. The games will still begin at 5 PM.
