City of Findlay Honors Employees for Years of Service and Lifesaving Actions

FINDLAY, Ohio – The City of Findlay honored employees for their dedication, excellence, and service at a luncheon held August 18, 2026.

The City recognized 53 employees for their years of service, marking milestones ranging from five to 35 years with the City.

The following individuals were recognized:

5 Years:  Kyle Bormuth, Police Department; Jason Dunn, Computer Services; Nicholas Fazzio, Fire Department; Carter Gilmore, Street Department; Lucas Hastings, Fire Department; Harley Heldman, Building Maintenance; Jeremy Hutchinson, Water Distribution; Justin Jolliff, Police Department, Joseph Marshall, Recreation Department; Evan Naliborski, Parks Maintenance; Craig Picklesimer, Fire Department; Mary Price, City Income Tax; Joshua Scharp, Police Department; Matthew Schroeder, Police Department; Caleb Swope, Water Pollution Control Center.

10 Years:  Jacob Atkins, Police Department; Ryan Clark, Street Department; Nana Flick, Municipal Court; Brenda Galvin, Police Department; Cory Glick, Municipal Court; Ricardo Hernandez, Police Department; Jeremy Kalb, Engineering Department; Eric Lehman, Police Department; Christopher McDougall, Police Department; Daniel Ward, Water Treatment; Andrew Wells, Fire Department; Elliott Werth, Law Director’s Office.

15 Years:  Timothy Brown, Police Department; Donavan Hill, Fire Department; John Schmidt, Police Department.

25 Years:  Chris Cramer, Street Department; Joshua Eberle, Fire Department; Robert Feighner, Law Director; Timothy Foust, Water Treatment; Bradly Holley, Parks Maintenance; Adam Kidwell, Fire Department; Jason Morey, Police Department; Brett Young, Water Treatment.

30 Years:  James Arras, Parks Maintenance; Jeff Betts, Water Distribution; Chris Kolhoff, Sewer Maintenance; Michael Metzker, Fire Department; Ginger Sampson, Auditor’s Office; Daniel Thomas, Fire Department.

35 Years:  Brian Egts, Water Treatment; Jeffrey Kolhoff, Water Distribution; Robert Rizor, Cemetery.

“Recognizing employees for their years of service is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the dedication and commitment they have shown to the City of Findlay,” said Service-Safety Director Rob Martin. “Each year of service represents countless contributions to our community, and we are grateful for the knowledge, experience and professionalism these employees bring to their work every day. Their continued commitment is what helps make Findlay a great place to live, work and serve.”

In addition, Marcus Gierke and Chase Glick were presented with a Lifesaving Award for their courageous actions following a serious accident involving a coworker. Gierke and Glick immediately provided critical first aid that helped control life-threatening injuries, stabilize their coworker and preserve his life until professional medical assistance arrived.  Each was presented with a certificate and challenge coin commemorating their life-saving actions.

“Today’s luncheon provided an opportunity to recognize the many ways our employees contribute to the City of Findlay,” said Mayor Christina M. Muryn. “Whether through years of dedicated service, excellence in their daily work, or extraordinary actions in an emergency, these employees demonstrate the commitment and care that make our organization and our community stronger.”
