Butterman Pleads Guilty to Child Pornography Charge; Sentencing Scheduled for March 4
A rural Roundhead man changed his plea to guilty on a charge involving child pornography in the United States Northern Ohio District Court in Toledo this (Tuesday November 18) afternoon.
According to Court documents, Mark Butterman was then found guilty to one count of receipt and distribution of child pornography.
He was indicted on the charge in May of this year following an investigation conducted by the FBI and the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office.
A presentence investigation report is due by January 21, 2026, and the sentencing date was set for March 4, 2026.
Butterman faces a minimum of five and maximum of 20 years in prison.
