Kenton High School Coed Varsity Wrestling falls to Defiance High School 45-18

The Kenton High School wrestling team took on the Defiance Bulldogs at home Thursday night in a WBL dual meet contest.  Both teams, coming into the matchup, have struggled in conference dual meets so far this season with only one team win and three losses each.   The Bulldogs, with nearly a full roster, easily defeated the Wildcats 45-18 by accepting three forfeits and winning six of the eight contested matches. Kenton High School Girls Varsity Basketball beat Defiance High School 53-20

The Lady Wildcats came out ready to play tonight and jumped out to an early 15-4 1st quarter lead. They never looked back and finished the game with a 53-20 victory over Defiance. The Cats really pushed the tempo on offense by sharing the ball in transition which lead to a very balanced scoring attack. Kenton Boys 7th Grade Basketball beat Bath 46-19

The Wildcats came out firing on all cylinders and never looked back scoring 17 first quarter points. The wildcats used a stingy defense and forced 15 first half turnovers.  The wildcats went on to win 46-19. The cats were led in scoring by Maddux McFarlin with 15, Luke Hougendobler 8, Kyle Barrett 8 and Carter Newland with 3.

Kenton Girls 7th Grade Basketball beat Bath 31-24

The Cats struggled all night, but pulled it out at the end with heart and hustle! Brylee Bostleman lead all scorers with 16. Lyla Gammon had her highest scoring game of the season adding 13 while Jadynn Byers chipped in a basket. Great comeback by the Cats.

Kenton High School Boys Varsity Bowling falls to Harding High School 2466-2297

The Wildcats had 5 of the 10 individual games and the 2 bakers games scoring 200 or better but Harding was just as good as Kenton lost 2297-2466. Sam Taylor again led the Wildcats with a 436 series (214-222).  Devin Hastings followed with a 410 series (199 - 211).  Adam Hopkins had Kenton's high game of 225.  Spencer Anglemyer added a 204.
