Kenton Boys 7th Grade Basketball beat St. Marys Memorial 44-23

The 7th Grade boys basketball team move to   7-4 on the season defeating the Roughriders 44-23 on Tuesday Night.  The wildcats were led in scoring by Maddux McFarlin with 13, Kyle Barrett 11 with 3 three pointers, Luke Hougendobler 5, Brennan Heberling 5 and Carter Newland with 4. The wildcats will be back in action this Thursday to take on Ridgedale at KMS gym at 530 pm.

Kenton High School Boys Varsity Bowling falls to Riverside High School 2753-2643

Kenton High School Coed Varsity Wrestling finishes 13th place at Invitational @ Triad High School

The Kenton High School Wrestling team competed at the Triad Invitational this past weekend placing thirteenth out of sixteen teams from many division one, two and three schools.  Elgin came out on top as a team scoring 263 points followed by Upper Arlington 225 and Marysville 202.5 for third.  Junior, Anthony Hunt and Senior, Antonio Petitt were the only Wildcats to place in the tough large tournament.   Hunt, wrestling at the 150 lbs weight class, was seeded as the number […]

Kenton High School Coed Varsity Wrestling falls to Defiance High School 45-18

The Kenton High School wrestling team took on the Defiance Bulldogs at home Thursday night in a WBL dual meet contest.  Both teams, coming into the matchup, have struggled in conference dual meets so far this season with only one team win and three losses each.   The Bulldogs, with nearly a full roster, easily defeated the Wildcats 45-18 by accepting three forfeits and winning six of the eight contested matches. Kenton High School Girls Varsity Basketball beat Defiance High School 53-20

The Lady Wildcats came out ready to play tonight and jumped out to an early 15-4 1st quarter lead. They never looked back and finished the game with a 53-20 victory over Defiance. The Cats really pushed the tempo on offense by sharing the ball in transition which lead to a very balanced scoring attack. The Wildcats came out firing on all cylinders and never looked back scoring 17 first quarter points. The wildcats used a stingy defense and forced 15 first half turnovers.  The wildcats went on to win 46-19. The cats were led in scoring by Maddux McFarlin with 15, Luke Hougendobler 8, Kyle Barrett 8 and Carter Newland with 3.
