Softball Tournament - Hardin Northern vs USV 5/21/26 WKTN Sports
The Cats used defense to gain momentum in the first quarter and never looked back. Leading all scorers was Brylee Bostleman with 13. Lyla Gammon added 10. Taryn Miller scored 6, and Jadynn Byers chipped in 5. Hadley Wilson contributed three.
The Lady Cats ran into a tough Riverdale team tonight. Scoring for the Cats were Ary Gradick with 5 points, Sidney Payne, Olivia Grasley and Brylee Bostelman all with 4 points and Lily Manns added a free throw.
The Wildcats had 5 of the 10 individual games and the 2 bakers games scoring 200 or better but Harding was just as good as Kenton lost 2297-2466. Sam Taylor again led the Wildcats with a 436 series (214-222). Devin Hastings followed with a 410 series (199 - 211). Adam Hopkins had Kenton's high game of 225. Spencer Anglemyer added a 204. The Lady Cats put up a great fight but fell short in the end. Sidney Payne led in scoring with 17 points, Bailey Henry had 2 points and Karyn Hopkins rounded out the scoring with 3 points.
The Wildcats had a strong start, but Glandorf pulled away in the second half. Sidney Payne led in scoring with 18 points, Olivia Grasley had 4 points and Ary Gradick had 3 points.

Kenton ran into a strong Riverside team losing 2636-2980. Devin Hastings led the Wildcats with a 243 high game and 400 series. Adam Hopkins added a 211 game and Stone Sauber a 193. The JV team came away with a win against Riverside 1439-1021. Ben Nalls led the team with a 168 high game and 300 series. Jacob Kennedy added a 147. The Wildcats led after the 1st indiviual game and increased their lead after the 2nd game and each baker to eventually defeat Elida 2593 - 2471.
