Wildcat Boys Roll Past LTC For Sixth Straight Win

The Kenton Wildcats notched their sixth straight win Thursday, defeating Lima Temple Christian 2782-1926. They surged ahead early with a 412-pin lead after the first individual games, thanks to Trevor Roesner’s 267. Kenton Girls Bowling Takes Down LTC

The Kenton Wildcats earned their fifth win of the season with a 1755-1328 victory over Lima Temple Christian on Thursday. They started strong, rolling a 659 in the first individual games to take a 138-pin lead, then followed up with a 702 in the second to stretch the advantage to 385 pins heading into the baker games. Kenton Girls Drop Tough Contest to LB

The Wildcats dropped a hard-fought game at home to Liberty Benton, 54-46. Sidney Payne led the Cats with 28 points, followed by Kaiden Gammon with 8. Emori Criner and Jaz Long added 3 points each, while Kaylee Barlow and Ally Rhinehart chipped in 2 apiece. For the Eagles, Corra Dehart scored 17 points and Amelia Kin added 15. The Cats now sit at 3-3 on the season and will host OG on Thursday.

Kenton 7th Grade Boys Drop Close Game Against OG

The Kenton 7th-grade boys' basketball team dropped a tough one to Ottawa-Glandorf, 30-35. After leading most of the way, Kenton saw the game slip away in the final moments. Dawson Wallace Griffin Hensel led the Wildcats with 14 points each, while Kenny Morris added 2. The team will be back on the court Wednesday (12/17) at home against Allen East, with tip-off at 5:30 pm.

Kenton 8th Grade Girls Fall to OG

Ottawa-Glandorf came out strong after capitalizing on some early Wildcats turnovers in their Monday night matchup. The Wildcats fought back to bring the deficit to single digits in the third quarter, but OG managed to pull away again. For Kenton, Kyndal Gammon scored 6 points, Adella Dudek added 5, and Eliannah Miller chipped in a free throw. The Wildcats will hit the court again Wednesday at Allen East.

Kenton vs Riverdale Postponed

The boys' basketball matchup between Kenton and Riverdale, scheduled for tonight (12/13/25), has been postponed due to inclement weather. The makeup date is yet to be determined. The next high school basketball broadcast on WKTN will feature Cory-Rawson at USV on Friday, December 19th. The Cessna Transport pregame show starts at 7 PM, followed by tip-off at 7:30.
