Kenton Wrestling Duo Shows Out at WBL

H/T Kenton Wildcat Athletics At the WBL Wrestling Tournament on Saturday, Wapakoneta secured its third consecutive Wester Buckeye League title. That win moved Wapak to first all-time in WBL wrestling championships with 21. While Wapak dominated as a team, two Wildcats had great showings at the tournament. Isaiah Mundy took home the 150 LBS championship with a major-decision over Celina's Noah Russell, while his teammate Isaac Blevins was runner-up in the 190 LBS weight class.

Riverdale Wrestling Dynamic Duo Dominates BVC

H/T Riverdale Local Schools The Riverdale wrestling duo of Grady Phelps and Kydin Reed have been impressive throughout the entire season, and they continued to showcase their talents at this year’s Blanchard Valley Conference tournament. Phelps, awarded the BVC Wrestler of the Year, won the championship in the 144-pound weight class, while Reed claimed the title in the 190-pound division. Both wrestlers will now compete at the OHSAA state tournament.

St. Mary’s Girls Bowling Headed to State

H/T Varsity Lanes The St. Mary's girls varsity bowling team is headed to the state tournament after a hard-fought district win. The Riders took 1st place by just 5 pins. Kaleigh Caywood took 2nd place as an individual while her teammate Kallie McKinley finished 5th. The JV Riders previously took 2nd place at the JV State Championship.
