Grady Phelps 138 LBS Champion H/T Riverdale Local Schools The Riverdale wrestling team competed in the Van Buren Invitational over the weekend. Two Falcons were able to secure medals in their respective weight divisions. Grady Phelps took home first place in the 138 LBS weight class after beating Liberty Center's Daine Bayer in the finals. Fellow Falcon Kydin Reed snagged a 3rd place finish in the 190 LBS weight division.
Semi-pro hockey is making a comeback in Findlay with the arrival of the Findlay Force. Set to launch in the 2026-2027 season, the team will play its home games at The Cube. The Cats jumped out to a 12-point lead over the Roughriders, but St. Mary’s rallied to tie the game by halftime. Fortunately, the Wildcats closed out strong in the fourth quarter to secure the win. It was a true team effort, with every 7th grader once again getting on the scoreboard.

The boys’ team took down the Prexies 2619-1784, with the Wildcats posting two near-record individual games of 1042 and 1060. Four bowlers hit 400+ series, helping set a school record series of 2102.
