The Upper Scioto Valley Varsity Softball team earned a decisive 18-3 victory over Perry on Tuesday night in a strong all-around performance. Kenton Baseball Returns to the Diamond with a Blowout Win

After a string of cancellations, Kenton High School’s varsity baseball team finally hit the field again. The Wildcats hadn’t played since their March 30th season opener, but they showed no signs of rust, crushing county rival Hardin Northern 18-1 to improve to 2-0 on the year. If the weather cooperates, Wildcat baseball will be back on its home field tonight (April 9th) to take on WBL rival Memorial at 5:30 PM.

USV Softball Fell to Arcadia

Upper Scioto Valley took a tough 14-1 loss to Arcadia on Tuesday, but there were some positives for the Rams. Ashlyn Downing shined at the plate, going 2-for-2 with a solo homer, while Raegan Castle pitched three innings in the circle. Arcadia’s offense came alive with 13 hits and a big fifth inning to seal the win. The Rams will aim to rebound in their next game tomorrow (4/3) against New Knoxville.

Riverdale Baseball and Track Canceled Tonight

Due to inclement weather, Riverdale has announced that the baseball game and track meet scheduled for tonight (3/31) have been canceled. The next baseball game will be on April 1st at Arlington and the Falcons will hit the track again April 4th at Carey.
