Benjamin Logan Sweeps Urbana

The Benjamin Logan Raiders traveled to Urbana for a CBC crossover volleyball match and came away with a convincing 3-0 victory. Winning 25-18, 25-19 and 25-20 to secure the sweep. Benjamin Logan was led offensively by Georgia Daniels with 11 kills, while Summer Cline added 7 kills. While Autumn Cline directed the offense with 20 assists. At the net, Abby Vance contributed 3 kills, 3 blocks and 3 aces and Storm LeVan added 2 kills. Defensively, Brielle Kline recorded a 2.00 passing rating, while Lydia Johnson posted a strong 2.40 passing rating.

Wildcats Fall in Home Opener

The Kenton girls soccer team hosted Ben Logan at Merold Field for their home opener. It was a back-and-forth first half that finished 0-0. The Wildcats scored first in the second half off of a free kick by Maddy Wood but Ben Logan would respond with 3 unanswered goals to win 3-1 The Wildcats will host Shawnee next Tuesday at Merold Field at 7pm to open WBL play.

Ben Logan Girls Golf Moves to 2-2

The Benjamin Logan varsity girls golf team had their best team score of the year to win a dual golf match against Graham at Cherokee Hills Golf Course on Tuesday. Balanced Cats defeat Bulldogs for first WBL win

Kenton Boys Golf defeated Elida in a home WBL match. The balanced Wildcats defeated the Bulldogs 178-185. Austin Root paced the Wildcats with a round of 42, followed by Anden Goldsmith’s 44. Brayden Lowe posted a 45, while Oliver Sneary, Rhoen Goldsmith, and Quin Kozman each came in with a 47. Kenton moves to 1-2 in the WBL and 3-2 overall.

Cats fall to Otsego

The Lady Wildcats traveled to Otsego Monday night to face the Knights. Despite firing off 22 shots and getting 15 saves from Hadley Wilson, the Cats came up short, falling 1-3 in the toughly contested game. Kenton’s lone goal came from a free kick scored by Maddy Wood. The Wildcats will be back in action in their home opener against Benjamin Logan tonight at 5:00pm.

Wildcats Fell to Defending WBL Champions in Boys Golf

The Kenton boys varsity golf team hit the road Thursday to face the defending Western Buckeye League champs, Ottawa-Glandorf. The Titans took the win with a 149-180 score over the Wildcats. Hardin Northern Downs McComb in Three Sets

Hardin Northern and McComb went head-to-head in high school volleyball on Wednesday August 19th. In varsity action the Polar Bears were victorious in three sets 25-20, 25-16, 31-29. Hope Ribley lead the team with 14 kills, Kendall Frank had a whopping 39 assists, and Lexi Oakley lead in digs with 19. Hardin Northern also took victories in the JV and freshman contests.
