The Kenton Wildcats had to adjust to the lanes at Elida but perservered for a 1856 - 1792 WBL victory. Kenton took a 69 pin lead after the 1st individual games 653 - 574 behind a 158 from Brayla Butler. The Kenton Wildcats started slow, trying to get used to the lanes at Elida, but eventually found their groove, defeating Elida 2513 - 2373. The 1st individual games found the Wildcats behind by only 9 pins, 804 - 813, as Trevor Roesner rolled a 224. The Kenton Wildcats jumped out to a 108 pin lead after the 1st individual games, 760 - 652, led by Mackenzie Kugel's high game of 194. The Kenton Wildcats overpowered Fostoria led by Eban Albert's school record high game 289 and high series 500 (211 - 289). The Wildcats rolled a 921 1st individual games to take a 229 pin lead, 921 - 692. Kenton 8th grade boys basketball fell to Glandorf 56-30. It was a dishearting loss after getting an emotional win last week but we'll look to rebound against Allen East this coming Wednesday.
