Lima Bicyclist Seriously Injured in Crash at Cable Road Intersection

A Lima man was seriously injured after his bicycle was struck by a car Tuesday morning at the intersection in Lima. According to the report from the Lima Police Department, 63-year-old Troy Terhark attempted to cross Cable Road from a stop sign on Carolina Avenue, and his bicycle was struck by a southbound car being driven by 42-year-old Matthew Gogley, of Lima. Findlay Man Succumbs to Injuries Following E-Bike Accident

A Findlay man who was involved in an E-Bike accident early this past Monday morning in that city has died. According to a release from the Findlay Police Department, Daniel Martin died Tuesday from injuries he suffered in the accident. Martin lost control of the bike while traveling north in an alley at just past midnight Monday in the 700 block of Frazer Street in Findlay. The bike went off the left side of the alley and struck a fence.

Former Kenton Resident Faces September Trial on Rape Charges in Marion County

A former Kenton resident was indicted earlier this year by a Marion County Grand Jury on three counts of rape, and the victim was listed as being under 13 years of age. Tyeson Hurt, now of Marion, has pleaded not guilty to the charges.
