One person was shot and a juvenile suspect was located in Findlay Thursday morning. According to a release, Findlay Police Officers received a report of male that had been shot and was being transported to the hospital by private vehicle. It was determined the shooting occurred in the parking lot at 2215 Jennifer Lane. The Findlay Police Department has announced the promotion of David Hill to the rank of Captain and Brooks Deidrick to the rank of Lieutenant. Both were officially sworn in Thursday morning by Mayor Christina Muryn. Captain Hill is a graduate of Findlay High School and attended Owens Community College, where he earned his Basic Ohio Peace Officer Certificate.
