Two Injury Crashes Reported Within 15 Minutes in Hardin County Monday Afternoon

First responders in Hardin County were dispatched to two separate injury crashes that occurred within 15 minutes of each Monday afternoon. According to information on the 9-1-1 call sheet, the first occurred at just before 2:30pm on State Route 31 near Township Road 265. Around 12 minutes later, an injury accident was reported in the 700 block of Madriver Street in front of Dollar General in Forest. WKTN is awaiting information on the crashes from the Hardin County Sheriff's Office.

Severe Thunderstorms Possible This Afternoon and Evening

Occasional thunderstorms are expected into this evening. According to the National Weather Service, some severe storms will be possible, especially this afternoon into evening. Damaging wind will be the primary threat, but large hail and an isolated tornado will also be possible. In addition, some of the storms will be capable of producing very heavy rainfall and localized flash flooding. Stay tuned for the latest updates on the weather.

Tickets on Sale for Alger Public Library Fundraiser Dinner

Alger Public Library Tickets for a fundraiser dinner for the Alger Public Library are on sale now. The pulled pork dinner will be served from noon until 2:00 p.m. on August 22. City of Lima Accepting Duck Blind Lottery Registrations August 3โ€“7

The City of Lima will be accepting registrations August 3-7 for hunters that wish to harvest waterfowl at Limaโ€™s reservoirs. Registrations can be submitted at the Water Treatment Plant located at 1100 East Wayne Street in Lima. Findlay Man Seriously Injured in Early Morning E-Bike Crash

A Findlay resident was injured in an E-Bike accident early this morning in the 700 block of Frazer Street that city. According to a release from the Findlay Police Department, Daniel Martin lost control of the bike while traveling north in an alley at just past midnight. The bike went off west side of the alley and struck a fence. Martin was transported to Blanchard Valley Hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
