Hardin County Retired Teachers Association to Meet September 18

The Hardin County Retired Teacher Association will meet at noon on September 18 at the Elks Lodge in Kenton. The speaker will be Tim Conkle who will talk about the Scioto Junction Train Club. Monetary donations will be given to the train club. All retired Hardin County teachers are welcome to attend. RSVP by September 11 by calling 419-673-0392.

Alberta M. “Miss Bertie” Fulkerson, 97, of Rushsylvania went peacefully into the arms of Jesus, her Lord and Savior, on Sunday morning, August 30, 2026, at Otterbein Green Hills Assisted Living Inn, surrounded by her children. Lunch Tickets Return for 2026 Wyandot County Fair

Wyandot County Fair Lunch tickets will once again be available during the 2026 Wyandot County Fair. Lunch tickets are available from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm. Tickets may be purchased for $8, which allows you entry into the fair. If you return to the gate within 60 minutes from the time written on the ticket, you will receive a $5 refund. The 175th Wyandot County Fair will run from September 14-19 at the fairgrounds in Upper Sandusky.

Involuntary Manslaughter, Reckless Homicide Charges Dropped in Hardin County Plea Deal

A man changed his plea last week in Hardin County Common Pleas Court in exchange for more serious charges being dropped. 30-year-old Scott F. Bailey pleaded guilty to two counts of corrupting another with drugs, two counts of aggravated trafficking in drugs, and one count of aggravated possession of drugs.
