The Alger Public Library is inviting the community to a Drop-In Craft event this Thursday, January 22, from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. Participants of all ages are welcome to enjoy a craft inspired by the past. A Marion man was killed in a two-vehicle crash that occurred on Marion-Williamsport Road in Marion County Monday evening. According to a release from the Marion Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, 42-year-old Joshua Criswell drove left of center while traveling northeast, and his car was struck by a southwest bound semi being operated by 37-year-old Joshua Silvia, of Marion. COLUMBUS - Members of the 153rd Basic Peace Officer Class received training certificates during a graduation ceremony held Friday afternoon at the Ohio State Highway Patrol Training Academy.
