Members of Blue Star Mothers Ohio Chapter 32 visited two area schools recently to recognize seniors joining the military. Honor cords were presented to students at Upper Sandusky and Hardin Northern. OSU Extension Shares Hardin County April Rainfall Totals

Ohio State University- Hardin County Extension released the Hardin County Rainfall Report for the month of April. Lynn Township recorded the most rain, with 2.95 inches, and the least was in 1.62 inches in Washington Township. The average for the 15 reporters was 2.18 inches of rain in April. Regional Gas Prices See Mixed Changes This Week

https://gasprices.aaa.com/ Average prices for a gallon of gasoline saw a slight increase from last week. According to AAA, the average U.S. price is $4.55 a gallon today, an increase of 4 cents from last Wednesday. The Ohio average is $4.74 a gallon, an increase of 9 cents in one week. LaRue Driver Escapes Injury After Vehicle Strikes Utility Pole in Marion

A LaRue woman and a passenger in her vehicle escaped injuries in a crash that occurred Thursday evening in Marion. According to the Marion Police Department report, 70-year-old Pamela Fassler lost control of her vehicle while driving north on McKinley Drive. The car sustained disabling damage after it went off the right side of the road and struck a utility pole. Fassler was cited for failure to control.
