Photo: Ada Public Library The Ada Public Library will host a live animal show presented by Realm of the Reptile on Tuesday, June 16, at 11 a.m. The program will give attendees an opportunity to learn about reptiles while seeing the animals up close. No registration is required, but seating will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. The library is located at 320 N. Main Street in Ada.
Hardin County Fair officials are reminding the community that Market Hog, Goat, and Lamb exhibitors must have registration completed by today (June 5). They ask that everyone completes the simple registration so they can have a smooth tag-in process. The Ohio Department of Transportation has announced a road closure in Hardin County starting next week. State Route 235 between County Road 110 and Township Road 120 will close Wednesday, June 10, for approximately three days to replace a culvert and catch basin. Motorists should use caution and recommended detours while the work is being completed. Detour: SR 309 to U.S 68 to SR 67, back to SR 235

The Hardin County Sheriff’s Office announced this afternoon that due to recent technical upgrades at the Multi County Correctional Center, the Hardin County inmate roster, which appears on the Sheriff’s App, is not updating information to the app like it normally does. Officials said that efforts are currently underway to correct the issue as quickly as possible.
