Hardin County Engineer's Office announced a road re-opening and a road closing. Township Road 85, between State Route 701 and County Road 60, has now reopened. As of this morning, County Road 190, between Township Roads 245 and 255, closed for 45 days for a bridge replacement project.
Two people were arrested after an incident Sunday night in Union County. According to the Daily Media report from the Union County Sheriff's Office, deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 18,000 block of Poling Road after receiving a report about a dispute. There's been a change made to an intersection in the Village of Ada. Drivers are encouraged to exercise caution on Turner Avenue where it intersects with West Street. The intersection has been upgraded to a three-way stop in an effort to improve safety ahead of the new school year. Motorists are encouraged to slow down, stay alert, and be mindful of increased traffic and pedestrian activity as students return to school.
