Humane societies, dog shelters, and 501(c)(3) non-profit groups that spay and neuter dogs and cats around Ohio can apply for a grant from the Ohio Pet Fund. Applications can be found on the OhioPetFund.org website, and the deadline to apply is April 30. Most of the funds come from the sale of pet license plates. XENIA – The Xenia Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a two-vehicle fatal crash. The crash occurred Sunday, March 29, at approximately 7:49 p.m., at the intersection of U.S. 42 and Hickman Road in Xenia Township, Greene County. There are two blood drives scheduled around the area during the month of April. The first one is from noon until 6pm on April 20 at the Belle Center Cornerstone Church in Belle Center.
