Summer Concert Series Returns to Downtown Kenton on July 4

The next Summer Concert series in downtown Kenton is this Saturday, July 4.The event will feature the band Lowest Point.Revitalize Kenton: a community partnership will be operating the beer tent Saturday evening.Rolling Fire Pizza & La Trailita Taco's y Mas LLC will be also be onsite.The Beer Garden and food service will begin at 5:00 p.m., and the concert will run from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Saturday evening.For more information and updates, check out Kenton Historic Courthouse District on Facebook.

Governor DeWine Announces $15.5M in Brownfield Remediation Grants to Communities in 35 Counties 

(COLUMBUS, Ohio)— Ohio Governor Mike DeWine, Lt. Governor Jim Tressel, and Ohio Department of Development Director Lydia Mihalik today announced $15.5 million in grants to help communities in 35 counties clean up contaminated properties and prepare them for redevelopment.  The Department of Development is awarding this funding as part of the Ohio Brownfield Remediation Program.
