Registration for the Kenton Wildcat 5K and 4-Mile Relay ends July 29. 5K Individual is $25 to participate, 4-Mile Relay Teams, Corporate, Organization, or Family, is $100 per team, and the 1-Mile Fun Run is free. Hardin County Armory An Open House will be held at the Hardin County Armory this Sunday, July 26. It will take place from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m at 128 North Main Street in Kenton. You will have an opportunity to tour the historic venue and ask questions. The public is invited to attend.

Bob Howe Memorial Golf Outing Set for August 7 in Kenton

The Bob Howe Memorial Golf Outing is scheduled for Friday, August 7. Registration starts at 8am at the Memorial Park Golf Course in Kenton. The fees are $40 for members with a cart, $55 for members without a cart and $75 for non-members. There will be raffle prizes, a 50/50, course games and a meal afterward. All proceeds go to benefit local high school students to further their education.

Market on Main Returns Saturday in Downtown Kenton

Market on Main Kenton Market on Main is back tomorrow. They hours are 9:00 AM until Noon at the corner of Main and Ohio Streets, behind Middlefield Bank in Kenton. The Farmer's Market features fresh local foods and other local vendors. Market on Main is a collaborative project of the Kenton Historic Courthouse District and City of Kenton Government.

United Way of Hardin County -Ohio United Way of Hardin County's 2-1-1 puts information at your disposal.  When you Dial 2-1-1 on your cell phone anywhere in Hardin County, you will be connected with a social service specialist.  If you provide a service in Hardin County, you are encouraged to add your information to the 2-1-1 database. Kenton Elks Collecting Donations for Sandusky Veterans Home

The Kenton Elks Lodge is again collecting needed items for the Sandusky Veterans Home. Needed items include new men's and women's clothing, full size personal hygiene items and other items such as board games, wall clocks, ear buds and more.
