Food Drive Success at UofF

University of Findlay and Sodexo’s Helping Hands Food Drive goal of 115,000 pounds was exceeded on Wednesday, with a total of 115,867 pounds collected for CHOPIN Hall!   Last year, 111,436 pounds were collected.   Since 2008, UF has led the nation each year with most pounds collected for Helping Hands. Kenton City Council To Meet Tuesday

Don’t Give Up Movement on Public Eye This Weekend

A Bellefontaine woman who came across a video about the "Don't Give Up Movement" as she was coping with the loss of her 12 year old grandson to suicide will be the guest on Public Eye this week. Dana Fullerton now travels the area handing out yard signs with the message, "Don't Give Up," "You Matter" and "You Are Worthy of Love," among other slogans. “Gloria” To Be Performed at University of Findlay

John Rutter’s “Gloria,” will be the featured piece for two upcoming University of Findlay concerts performed by Concert-Chorale and University Singers. Fire Near Sycamore

A garage and camper were listed as a total loss near Sycamore Wednesday afternoon. According to the Wyandot County Sheriff’s office, a passerby in the 1600 block of Township Highway 136 Sycamore contacted 911 to report a garage and camper on fire. Noted Speaker to Visit ONU

Noted speaker and author Hakeem Rahim will discuss mental health concerns and mental wellness at 6 p.m. on Nov. 14 in the McIntosh Center ballroom at Ohio Northern University. Final Leaderships Sessions at UF set

USV Ornament Fundraiser

The USV 4th, 5th, and 6th grade students are selling Christmas ornaments to help raise funds for various events, activities, and projects throughout the year.    Ornaments will be sold from now until November 26th.    Each ornament is $5.00.    You can place an order by calling the Elementary or High School at 419-757-3231 offices between 8:00 am and 3:30 pm.

Coat Drive a Success!

The recent coat drive conducted by the United Way of Hardin County and BKP Ambulance District was a big success. The drive ended with a total of 42 coats and numerous hats & gloves collected.    The items will be distributed through Helping Hands Outreach Ministries and Love Inc. of Hardin County.
