Carey Man Killed After Being Struck by Vehicle in Wyandot County

A Carey man was killed after being struck by a vehicle while he was assisting a motorist who ran out of gas on State Route 15 in Wyandot County Tuesday night.   According to a release from Wyandot County Sheriff Michael Hetzel, 28 year old Mikhael Weyer was putting gas into the vehicle when he was struck by a sport utility vehicle being operated by 61 year old Jeffrey Striner, of Dublin.   Weyer was pronounced dead at the scene […]

Disaster Preparedness Event for Adults 55 and Over Planned

Registrations are being taken now for a Hardin County Disaster Preparedness Event for older adults 55 and over.   The event is scheduled for June 13 at the Hardin County Sheriff's Office in Kenton.   Free training will be offered for those attending, and each will receive a free disaster preparedness kit.   Space is limited, so if you plan to attend register now by calling the Area Agency on 3 at 567-940-9751.

Car Stolen in Findlay Recovered in Kenton

A stolen vehicle was recovered in Kenton Tuesday morning.   According to the report from the Kenton Police Department, officers were dispatched to a parking lot on the corner of North Barron and Summit Street on a report that a vehicle had been parked there for the last three days.   It was discovered that the vehicle had been stolen out of Findlay, and it was taken to the city garage for storage.   Officers from the Findlay Police Department […]

Teen Arrested Following Road Rage Incident in Union County

A road rage incident led to the arrest of a Marysville teenager.   According to the Daily Media Release from the Union County Sheriff's Office, the incident started in the city of Marysville and deputies stopped a car involved in the 12,000 block of Black Road.   A passenger in the car, 19 year old Phoenix B. UF Mazza Museum Partners with Toledo Zoo on Exhibit

University of Findlay’s Mazza Museum is proud to partner with the Toledo Zoo on its newly-renovated ProMedica Museum of Natural History, scheduled to open May 31, which will include the second-floor Mazza Gallery featuring original artwork.
