Fremont Killed in Crash on SH 53 in Wyandot County

A Fremont man was killed in a crash that occurred in Wyandot County just after 4 Monday afternoon.   According to a release from the Wyandot County Sheriff's Office, 54 year old Jeffrey A. Crash Reported on SR 235 South of Ada Monday Night

An accident with injuries was reported to the Hardin County Sheriff's Office just before 10 Monday night on State Route 235.   Details are not available at this time, but according to information from the Hardin County Sheriff's Office, one person was injured in the crash and was transported to Lima Memorial Hospital.   The crash occurred on 235 just north of State Route 309 near Ada.

Lima Man Arrested on Hardin County Warrant

A Lima man was arrested in that city on a warrant.   According to the report from the Kenton Police Department, an officer met with an officer from the Lima Police Department in Maysville Monday evening and took custody of 42 year old Roger Howard.   The warrant was out of Hardin County Municipal Court.

Ottawa Man Facing Charges Following Incident Near Van Buren

Richwood Man Charged Following Disturbance in Magnetic Springs

A Richwood man has been charged following an incident from over the weekend.   According to the Daily Media Release from the Union County Sheriff's Office, deputies and units from the Leesburg Township Fire Department and Northern Union County Fire and EMS District were sent to a business on South Main Street in Magnetic Springs for a fight involving two males.   After further investigation, 59 year old Lance M. Forest Residents Encouraged to Purchase Bulk Water for Swimming Pools

Forest residents looking to get a break on their water bill for filling a swimming pool won't get one.   Village officials remind residents that no break on your utility bill will be given for using the village's water service to fill pools.   Bulk water purchases can be made using the bulk water facility, but residents must provide their own transportation.   Call the village office for more information at 419-273-2500.

Marion City Schools Presidents Providing Community Service

Marion City Schools Presidents have announced the date for the annual United Service Day.   According to the schools Facebook page, the 6th Annual event will take place this Friday may 24.   In support of the effort, Harding High School students will be heading out to over 60 different locations in the Marion area to provide community service.

Competency Evaluation Ordered for Walmart Arson Suspect

An arraignment for a Fredickstown man was postponed last week in U.S. District Court in Toledo.   The judge ordered that 26 year old Caleb T. Poole be committed to a facility for a competency evaluation. A new date for the arraignment has yet to be set.   Poole has been charged with destroying or damaging property used in interstate commerce, which is a felony.   The charge stems from a fire at Walmart in Kenton on May 6.   […]

No Outbreak of Hep A in Hardin County-Vaccinations Still Encouraged
