Kenton Firefighters Free Dog’s Paw from Register

When a dog got his paw stuck in a register Thursday, it was the Kenton Fire Department to the rescue. The dog stepped on the register in a house and got his toes stuck. He was taken to Diamond M Veterinary Clinic, but personnel there didn't have anything that could cut through the thick metal of the furnace register, and that's when the fire department was requested. Logan County School Receives Possible Threat Thursday

A school in Logan County was put on lockdown for around 45 minutes Thursday afternoon while authorities investigated a possible threat in the building.   WPKO radio reported that the Logan County Sheriff's Office was dispatched to Riverside School, where deputies checked rooms and book bags, but nothing was found.   The students were then released in small groups and escorted to the buses.   The incident remains under investigation.

Kenton Man Arrested on Probation Pick Up Order

A Kenton man was arrested Thursday on a probation pickup order.   According to the report from the Kenton Police Department, officers went to a residence in the 500 block of Decatur where the took 37 year old Aaron McGrath into custody.   McGrath allegedly surrendered a used syringe which he pulled out of his right pants pocket. Two Sentenced in Hardin County Common Pleas Court

Two people were sentenced recently in Hardin County Common Pleas Court.   According to the documents from Prosecutor Brad Bailey's Office:   .Sebastian E. Caudill was sentenced to 11 months in prison on one count of breaking and entering. He was ordered to pay $915 in restitution to the victim.   .Richard D. White was placed on five years community control with conditions on one count of domestic violence.   Both cases were heard by Judge Scott Barrett.
