Fundraiser to Help Wyandot CARES to Held Friday

A fundraiser for Wyandot CARES has been set for this Friday April 12.   The spaghetti dinner will be served from 4:30 to 7 at the Trinity Evangelical Church in Upper Sandusky.   The cost is $6 for adults and $3 for ages 6 and under.   Wyandot CARES is a released time Bible education program offering classes to students from elementary through high school in Wyandot County.

Kenton High School Boys Varsity Tennis beat Celina Senior High School 5-0. The Boys Tennis team recorded their first WBL win of the season by winning each match in straight sets. Woman Arrested on Warrant After Shoplifting at Walmart

A Forest woman was arrested on a warrant following a shoplifting incident at Walmart Tuesday morning.   According to the Kenton Police Department report, officers were dispatched to the store in reference to a theft in progress.   The suspect, identified as 37 year old Amanda Fraley, allegedly left the store without paying for a cart full of items. Findlay Man Arrested on Drug Charges Tuesday

A Findlay man was arrested on drug charges after a search warrant was executed by the Hancock County METRICH Drug Task Force on Tuesday.   According to a release, authorities conducted a search of room 134 of the Super 8 Motel on Broad Avenue in Findlay where the confiscated crack cocaine, drug paraphernalia and items indicative of drug trafficking.   53 year old Darrin J. Spring Craft Home Show Set for Saturday

The 18th Annual Spring Craft Home Show is scheduled for this Saturday April 13.   The event will run from 9am to 3pm at the Hardin County Fairgrounds.   There are 70 vendor spaces in 2 buildings featuring handmade crafts, direct sales and home improvements.   Lunch will also be available.   The event is sponsored by Rhinehart United Methodist Church and Your Region, Your Radio WKTN.

University of Findlay 2019 Spring Horse Sale Scheduled

The University of Findlay will be hosting its 15th annual Spring Horse Sale on Saturday, April 27, at the University Western Farm’s Dale Wilkinson Arena, 14700 Ohio 68, south of Findlay. ONU Student Volunteers Busy Cleaning up Parks

Ohio Northern student volunteers have been busy helping to spruce up parks around the county.   The volunteers took time to pick up sticks, mulch and paint storage buildings at Gormley Park in Forest. Work was also done at Pioneer Park in Kenton where benches were painted, and trash and sticks were picked up. Village and city officials expressed their gratitude for the students of ONU volunteering their time.
