St. John’s Presents “Passion of the Christ” Portrayal

St. John’s Evangelical Church in Kenton will present its annual portrayal of “The Passion of Christ.”   This event will take place, Thursday and Friday evening, April 18 & 19 @ 8:00 p.m.   The Passion of Christ Play is a portrayal of the last week of Christ’s life on Earth.   These performances are free and open to the public. A free will offering will be taken to benefit local charities.

No Students Injured in Crash Involving Mohawk School Bus

ODOT Plans Several Hardin County Projects this Spring/Summer

The Ohio Department of Transportation District 1 has several projects planned in Hardin County in the coming months.   Resurfacing projects are planned for State Route 81 through Ada, State Route 235 from State Route 309 to the north corporation limit of Ada and State Route 701 from State Route 309 to U.S. 68. Fire Damages Truck in Wyandot County

A box truck was damaged by fire at a residence in Wyandot County Wednesday morning.   According to the report from the Wyandot County Sheriff's Office, the truck was located in the 13,000 block of State Highway 37 when the electrical plugs on a generator that was running in the back of the truck caught on fire.   The Jackson-Forest Fire Department along with Jackson-Forest EMS arrived on scene and tankers from the Wharton and Marseilles Fire Departments were requested. Kenton High School Boys Varsity Tennis beat Lima Central Catholic 3-2 The tennis team won their first match of the season with a 3-2 win over LCC at the Mary-Lou Johnson Courts.
