Kenton Woman Facing Charges Following Monday Evening Incident

A Kenton woman was arrested and is facing several charges following an incident reported to Kenton Police Monday evening.   According to the report, officers were dispatched to a house on North Barron Street on a report of an intoxicated female leaving the residence.   Following an investigation, officers arrested 39 year old Angela LeVan.   She has been charged with felonious assault and for driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs.

Marion Man Facing Attempted Murder Charge

A man was arrested in Marion following a stabbing in that city this past Sunday night.   The Marion Star newspaper reported that 47 year old Donald Alan Mayse was taken into custody at his home in the 400 block of Olney Street.   He is accused of stabbing a person multiple times following an argument.   The 40 year old male victim suffered stab wounds to the chest and elbow.
